NANCY DEAN
Urban and natural landscapes are Nancy’s passions. A lifelong love of architecture inspires her vibrant cityscapes and as a former interior designer, she uses all the tools of the trade - perspective, value, light and colour - to build exciting compositions. She is particularly drawn to light and the way it reflects off water and shiny surfaces, such as windows and cars.
Her landscapes are inspired by the beautiful views found around every corner in British Columbia and travel provides her with further inspiration.
An AFCA with the Federation of Canadian Artists, her work has been exhibited widely and collected locally and internationally. She is active in the South Delta Artists Guild and enjoys painting with a local plein air group, a fun way to connect and learn from other artists.
