LINDA JONES

Who is Linda? 

Linda is someone who gets very little sleep. Her ideas and inspiration mostly begin to stalk her as her head hits the pillow, and they consume her until she has a brush, hammer, or bandsaw on the go. Some days she is a visual artist painting in oils or acrylics. Flowers and pet portraits are currently her favourite subjects. Other days you will find her in her woodshop making little houses that invoke her early years on the East Coast or eliciting animals from gorgeous West Coast driftwood. 

Lately, much to her husband’s chagrin, her home has taken the brunt of her creative energy! Every surface is a blank canvas, and every day is an opportunity to bring things to life (again)! For the past 40 years, Linda has dedicated herself to mentoring the creative community in Ladner, teaching and inspiring student artists of all ages to bring their own unique visions to life.
